After your break, (and hopefully after you’ve had your morning coffee), crank the volume to eleven, place the phone screen-side down on the table, and listen to yourself. This will force you to hear to the tone of your voice, and judge how you sound.
Next, replay the video the same way. This time count the ‘ahhs’, ‘umms’, and various filler words being used. Doing so will help bring them to the fore-front of your mind, so that you consciously force yourself to use them less the next time you present. It will assist to monitor what you say.
Finally, mute the sound, and watch the video one last time. Pay special attention to how you look, and examine the body language you broadcast. Doing so will help control your mannerisms and give you a better idea towards what the audience actually sees.
Make your adjustments as necessary and keep practicing!
